Breast Implants Types Sizes Styles
Breast implants present different shape, texture and profile.
Breast implants can be round or contoured, smooth or textured and their profile can be standard, moderate or high.
The type, style and size of breast implants are determined according to the cup size and appearance you desire as well as to your body contours.
During your free consultation, we will help you to choose the Breast Implants that are right for you.
Approaches and incisions
The Areola Technique
After cutaneous incision, Breast implants can be placed: sub-muscular and sub-glandular.
A pocket is carefully created in which the breast is placed.
This technique has the advantage of being hidden in the natural contours and the pigmented of the areola but has certain glandular disadvantages.
The scars from the incisions will fade and completely disappear over several months to a year.
Pain and swelling subside within a few days to a few weeks.
During your consultation, we will help you to decide which Breast Implants placement is the best for you.
The axillary approach
After cutaneous and subcutaneous incision in the axilla allows to approach the pectoral major muscle and to place the Breast Implant behind this muscle (retro-pectoral position), more rarely in front of the muscle Muscle (retro-glandular pre-pectoral position).
This approach allows an invisible incision on the Breast but can be considered as anti-anatomical.
